The 11th Griffin 5K Run on August 1, 2009 was a great success! A record pre-registration and race day registration was achieved. 175 participants enjoyed a great run/walk around scenic Lake Mokoma. This annual fundraiser is organized by the Sullivan County Booster Club and it benefits all high school athletic teams. This event was possible by the support of these sponsors:

Runners came from as far as Illinois and from many parts of Pennsylvania. The Lake Mokoma Association generously allows the use of their land and facilities for this great event where people of all ages can participate.
